AJ - Yes you can sell semen on carriers and register them in the US. I think that there needs to be a show for two reasons. 1 - breed/herd promotion and 2 - so many of the "ideal" numbered cattle are phenotypically so bad on their feet, legs, muscle dimension, etc. RW

It varies from state to state, We just processed 2 to go from Iowa to Canada, 1 bull and 1 heifer. We tested for blue tongue, BVD, Brucillouses, poured with cydectin and tatooed USA in their ears.They also have to be clean of ringworm. Don't know about steers. RCR

Yes, we are now running EPD's head to head with the simmentals so the base line has changed. Percentage rankings within the breed has stayed the same but the actual numbers have changed. RCR
