Having enough money left over to do other things

Hey folks, I have a small herd that I am hoping to expand over the next couple of years as I am able to get access to some more land.  Right now my operation is very, very small and consists of only 2 commercial cows (Shorthorn Crosses). I'm wanting to eventually invest in some pure bred...

    YOUR Favorite Bull!!!

You're welcome Doc. I like the way Durango is made.  He seems to have quiet a bit of muscle and seems to sire some very good calves.  I have seen some pictures of some of his sons on Martindell's website and I am impressed with them also.  I was also wondering Doc, what is the semen supply...

    different maine site

Those double muscled animals remind me a lot of the Belgian Blue Cattle.  It also makes me wonder if that is the way most cattle over in Belgium look.

    126 pounder!

Back 15 years ago, I heard of a guy who had a cow that gave birth to a 160 pound heifer calf. The thing that amazed me about it was the fact that it was born unassisted and that it lived.

    How PETA targets kids

I don't know how many people I have talked to here in the more recent years that are highly against slaughtering cattle for beef.  I have even been called names for being involved in the industry.  These are sad times folks.  :(

Good question GB! I would be curious to know how Theodore's progeny looks also.  I haven't seen very many pictures of them here in the States.

American Muscle Shortie bull - Info

The more I look at this bull's picture the more I like him.  I really like his line breeding, and would also be tempted to use him on some black cows to produce some more blue roans in my small herd.

JIT any pics of Leader Calves?

Hi OH Breeder, I too enjoy looking at JIT's cows on his site.  I really like what he has to offer in the way of genetics.  He seems to have a very wide range of different types of genetics for every breeding purpose. I think you may be right about the cow being "Prairie Lane Sparkle" that I...
