its the same way for us, the temp. is gettin way up there and the humidity seems like its always bad. we just rinse the calves a few times a day, keep fans & misters on them and do the best we can to keep them cool. i guess thats all you really can do! lol. but you were talking about how bad...

back to what justme said... the roto brush has really calmed my calf down too. i dont think she could get any calmer! she loves it though, its hilariouse to watch, when im using it to train the hair on her body she stretches & pull her head down or stretches one of her legs out like a oversized...

awww, man some of these county fairs sound awsome! But ours is REALLY REALLY REALLY small. they have a couple rides... so exhibit buildings..but as far as showing goes? out of my 6 or so years ... ive seen one cow. its sad really..its always a couple goats & sheep.. maby 4 or 5 pigs .. a couple...

Hey Red! i just wanna say, -THANK YOU SO MUCH!- after i read this post i started doing all the steps day by day, and lemme tell ya! it gets up into the 100's  where im from during this time of the year and my calfs' hair is 4 inches long!...  ;D

Wow... see now those are the kinda things that scare me about breeding!!
