I had alot of trouble with mine at first with wanting to keep her head down. No matter WHAT I did she would keep it down, but I have been tieing her up high whenever I can and she has improved alot. For a while I wanted to tugg on the chain alot of the time too  but it didn't really do much good...

I agree. I get tired of looking for good sires and seeing big fluffy bulls and not knowing exactly whats underneath all the fluff!! I loove hair, but I also like to be able to see some structure to go along...  - the whole package - ;)

Ok, I have a question...  :D I have a heifer and she's a bit tucked up in her flank. It gives her a steer-y look... & judges have mentioned it at some of the shows i have been too. I've been feeding beet pulp to help fill her out ... any other things I might be able to try?  ???

I was told that Ali would be a good sire for my heifer...she's an appendix shorthorn;blue roan. I'm kind of iffy because I've heard good and bad... My only major goal is to get a live calf on the ground -defect free- being that it will be her first. Opinions or suggestions?
