    Flush Opinions

I know it seems like this thread comes up several times on SP but I would like some opinions. I am considering flushing this cow, she is a Stoutline X Yankee and 2 years ago raised a very nice PB Hereford calf, her calf last year was a Deadliest Catch and again a nice calf but I am disappointed...

Walks Alone and Believe in Me calf temperament

I had 4 Two Tones this spring, one of them concerned me just by the look he had, but to my surprise he has been calm as the other 3 have been as well. All 4 are broke and will be shown this year. I still don't trust the one calf but he has not shown his bad side, but when you get him by himself...

    .257 Weatherby

Redwine, understand that XBAR is giving you data for a Weatherby rifle not a Remington 700. More than likely the Remington does not have any free bore (Weatherby does) and your load needs to be adjusted appropriately to get good results from the rifle. Most Weatherby's were manufactured with a...

It's in the news so it has to be the truth! N/C

Read this on the web and thought it was an interesting read. I'm sure that the Obama voters are scratching their heads wondering if it's the truth. I am sure there is 2 sides to the story just like him not saluting the flag...

    hereford

Not really. The ones I have bred didn't have the performance I was looking for. But the heifer I retained from the mating are doing well as momma cows. I believe there are better options out there for show prospects.

My son's bull, he thinks it is the best one ever pictured on SP

That is a very nice bull, judging from the pictures I would say he is real close to 365. I sure wouldn't pass him up on the last day.

    Hereford bull

7777 was simmi. The largest Hereford bull ever recorded was at the 1835 Scotland National show and weighted 3800+. Not sure what he was mongrelized with but I imagine he was pretty much pure bred.

    Hereford bull

That's a nice bull and he should work well with your plans, he has a little more white on him than I would like but has very good pigment and appears to have good muscle. He should produce you some really nice replacement heifers and great feeder cattle. What is his breeding?

    Debit/Credit card warning

Wonder what their W-2 or W-9 forms look like? Does the IRS have a special 1040 form for thieves and when do they have to file by? LOL!!

Hereford question. Best bull to breed to Reload daughter?

Looks to me like you have a pretty nice heifer, if you really want to get the best of both worlds breed her to a horned bull. Maybe, Churchill Sensation 028X, the cross between the polled and horned genetics give you a little extra performance. The horned cattle were always superior to the...
