my poorly stated point was intended to be that 50k testing lowered epd's of some awfully good animals. being an auditor at one time in my life, i don't think you can rely on data if the sample size is too low. not enough animals have been tested to rely on 50k results and how they change epd's...

dna is on file at amaa and maybe ds can be done from the th/pha sample. is a 50k test mandatory for an ai bull? it has ruined many a good Angus.

is he a 7/8 shorthorn that will get purebred calves out of purebred cows? he is an example of the calves i thought yukon would get when i registered him as a 3/4 shorthorn.
