how far away is your show, if he's a bit light for his endpoint i would try the grower. U don't want to fatten him too early, just need to put some punds on for the next month or so. I cant believe hes eatin 9 pounds at that weight, must be a champ.

Im not sure about carnac cows, but sunseeker can make some nice females. Bloodlines aside, i like my heifers to be very soft and have a little extra skin in the brisket. I call it a maternal front end. The show heifers tend to be a little hard doing for my liking, i like em with more fleshing...
