If you went to the stud you could likely come up with APPROX. hip heights based on reference points around the pens.

Keep as a bull or steer him?

Wide and Big hipped, love the paint. Long spined and a heavy milking mother. Bull  (pop) EDIT: What was his birth weight?   -I would leave him a bull until weaning and if he gets any better (not that there is something wrong with him now) or grows  really well etc. Good luck and good calf!

    Limousin January Heifer

She's pretty nice necked, big hipped, and long spined. Wide. I like her.

    What's the deal with clones?

The clones breed about 95% or more the same. Full brothers breed similarly, much more so in purebred cattle than in club calf cattle, more consistent genetics.

    Bull or Steer

WOW he's thick, I would keep him a bull but you may never be able to sell him with his coat color. He could be an excellent commercial sire based off of his growth too.

    Hidden Pleasure-Herd Bull

The bull has the large chestgirth XBAR always talks about and the daughters have the reverse wedge shape. I love the depth! Nice bull

    Moto Moto Calves

I have been wondering, what do you do with your Pericles females and your upcoming Moto Moto heifers? What will you breed them too? I feel like I would love to have your cows because of their excellent type and versatility (show or commercial) but I would hate having to give up all my great bull...

what is the best option for breeding i80 hfr

+1. However make sure you get the 'right' angus. Had to pull a couple 'Right Answer' calves out of heifers, 85 pound calf cannot easily leave a heifer. They were wintered with my Show cattle producing females and these right answer calves- out of heifers -the Angus sired calves were bigger than...

    Overall sire reports

Thanks Telos. For my sire reports I got poor conception on all of my cows, my vet told us to use the heifer sync program for 2 yr old pairs and we also had a few 3 year old cows in the group. I don't know if it has to do with the semen or if we just synced them wrong. 0/4 Bodacious, 1/3 Rumor...

    Maternal Charolais Bull

Decided to go with the Grid maker bull because we don't have a lot of grass so a 15 seemed like an ideal milk epd. I also do not want to have to buy from 2 different distributorships so I picked grid maker since he comes from Cattlevisions along with the other bulls I'm AI'ing . What would be a...

    Maternal Charolais Bull

And yes, preferably no Bluegrass or Firewater because that would limit their breeding potential. Would Smokester be safe to use on second-calvers? To make their second calf I mean.

    Semen Sales

You would buy from Cattle Visions because they have all the owners bulls so you could buy Monopoly, BIM, Gucci, and Salty Dog from the same place. I'm not suggesting you use those bulls just the CV has them all.
