I believe there is something (I don't remember the exact name of it) that cools the calf's body temperature down when rinsing for 5 minutes on each side of the calf.  This is a continuous rinse on the body and it has worked for me most of the time, but if you are like me and don't have a cooler...

Very nice heifer.  She sure is powerful.  I see you can't get rid of the mud where you live. :(  Unfortunately its raining in Indiana again today.

I believe DJ Salution will be the answer to the new purebred Simmi bulls out there.  He has Meyer 734 and Black Max on his dams side and is a complete outcross to all of the Dream On genetics which I would estimate to make up a third of the simmi breed.  Just my opinion.

I would say a Heat Wave son such as Warrant or Monopoly and I think Naughty Pine would work too.

Oh I didn't mean she'd throw a cripple, but with her power, some of these ai sires might make her calf straight IMO.

I do think Goldmember is a good choice.  I dont think he will throw a crippled calf out of her.  She seems stout made too.
