Hello:) we are new to the club pig scene, it's the younger nephews first go at it and I was hoping the pros on the Pig Chat side of SP could help me out...who has a kickin plan for making one of the PVC waterers. Running water, I know is better but not possible where our pigs are housed so...

We bought one the summer before last and it is used a good bit and we have never had a problem with it.  I would highly recommend buying a used one from Sullivans.  I will have another one soon!  For the savings and quality, I think it is a win-win! (clapping)

We didn't have any problems getting her to eat it (It smells sooo sweet) but we did have to do it a little at a time over three of four days, cause she got the screaming sh*ts on the first day. We just mix it in with the other supplements in her feed. I know that wasn't much help, but I hope you...

We have been using natural stride and it seems to be working (although expensive) and getting them out and excercising will also help (or turning out in a pasture lot at night. Good luck;)

We use Derma Cloth.  It works very well and is very easy to use, even for kids.  It comes in a package much like diaper wipes.  I take out a cloth or two, cut it into about 8 pieces and put them in a zip lock, easy for my nephew to use. <cowboy>...

Hello:) I am In the market to buy a set of scales for my nephews 4H projects and I would like some reccomendations. I like the bar type not the crate type so we can use it for both the calves and pigs,  what features are handy? What brand do you like? Thanks in advance :)

Has anyone used this as a complete feed? It claims to be one and our steer prefers it to his feed. He is getting about 1/5 of his ration now as winning fill and I am debating upping it because he eats it so well but was concerned if he would still gain.

I need suggestions to get rid of ringworm on the nephews show heifer. I have been hearing Fluvicin (labels for horses) in paste form but all I can find is a crystal form. Any other suggestions? Or has anyone use the crystal form and how did you administer it? Thanks in advance

Being an embroiderer, I know these are hard to come by. There are not that many to find on the web. I think I may have at least one that  I have used to get some embroidery designs.
