This is a small framed angus cow needing performance, bone, and muscle. Im wanting to breed for a replacement heifer. Attached is a picture of her as a calf. Thanks in advance!

William Hasenback had the champion heifer, Macy Griswold Had reserve and and i cant remember who had the third overall but i knew it came from Bucks sale.

Jimmy The Greek for the cows. OCC angus for the heifers.

I would add Chill Factor, Irish Whiskey, and OCC angus ( Just Right, legend, anchor, emblazon) to the list as well.

What is she? Breed? Sire? MGS?

I would go with a bull like Lifeline, Lead On, Black Rhino, or Yellow Jacket.

I have seen this steer in person and i have to say the pics do not do him justice. Really nice steer out of a really good cow. Just a touch green but he will get there. Too bad he isnt black  ;) ;D

Is this common? ethical? I have been hearing alot about it down hear and it seems to work wonders just curious if this was a regional thing or if it was common?

You might try walking your calf backwards, this usually works for me but occasionally it doesn't. She may also need her feet worked on even if they aren't long you may have an experienced hoof trimmer take a look.

If you really want to compete i would suggest going to the Exposure Sale this fall. You will get along great in the show ring and even better in the pasture.
