He is located in NE Oklahoma and she is one of three ET full sibs born this spring. There is a thread in here on a full sib steer in here i will try to find it and send it to the top.
Well for a heifer/cow prospect i would use anything ohlde angus. ( OCC Just Right, Anchor, Legend, ETC ). There are several females in the exposure sale every year that are bred this way and look awesome.
I was told that packers want uniform sized steers so when the cut them into quarters they will fit in same size packaging. And also for feed efficiency. Maybe this is wrong?
