    IW Female

She looks like she could have some frame to her and if she is A little bigger framed i would use Jimmy the Greek for a steer prospect. And any thing OCC for a replacement female.

I need help determining cause of death

This is what i was wondering also, why is there no blood? Is it possible for a Hawk/ eagle to do something like this and possibly carry the carcass away? I am guessing the goat weighed 35-40 lbs. I just dont want to falsly accuse anyone, especially the new family who i know nothing about.

I need help determining cause of death

That's what i thought but i was hoping that someone would say something else. I know everyone that lives in the area quite well except for a new family that just moved in. When i went out to feed the goats this morning i found that i was missing one. After exploring the 2 acre lot i discovered the contents of the  visceral mass ( organs) neatly in a pile with no bite marks or harm to the organ walls. I have searched every in of the lot and have yet to find the...

    Steel Force

This is the only steel force i have seen and i saw this guy at about 4 months and he was far from unimpressive.  I also saw steel force him self and would think he would work well on small framed clean fronted angus cows needing mass, muscle, bone. ( then again what good simmy bull doesnt). I...

Looking for Young Open Recips ASAP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I have heard that the best place to get recips is from a herd dispersal sale. There are alot of cattle that sale and usually more cattle than buyers. From what i understand is that the last few to sell go for alot under what they are worth. I have never done this but this may be an option.

    What to breed to

Another bull to consider is Chill Factor, I have seen several awesome FF x CF cows as well as CF x Angus that produce excellent steers. Just a thought.

    Eye Candy Heifer~~ Opinions welcome

    Best bull opinions

Hannibal or any of his sons, Carney Man, Lutton, Full Flush or sons, and Jimmy the Greek might work also. I wouldn't use a PB shorthorn unless you are planing to show them as haired cattle. JMO I think Carney Man and Lutton would do the best especially if you want cows later on.
