Baking soda works great!

To keep them cool you need to rinse them for about 15min about 3 times a day. Fans will help alot. We also use cooling collars.

We use cottenseed hulls and it works great for us!

We had a heifer do the same thing! I ran water on her 3 times a day and used mane and tail conditoner put it in a bucket and then fill with water and poor down back once a day. and she did fine. Good Luck

We walk our real good the night before and the morning of the show. I dont like to use calf calm unless we have to. We have found that walking them works well for us.
