I have seen that picture before and if memory serves me correct it was in an old add for TPS Coronet Leader 21st and it was listed as his sire CORONET MAX LEADER?

She sells February 12th in Watertown, SD.  The last I heard the Shorthorn Show/Sale was looking at over 40 head.

I sent you a PM.  The Heifer is an April 17th by K-Kim Gold Xchange (DFS Gold 002 x Elbee Bessie F120) and out of a Brockmueller cow (Eagle 166 X Tornado X Dazzler) that has been doing great for us.

The last quote I had was $300 to flush,  $25/embryo to implant fresh or $35/embryo to freeze.  Cost does not include embryo storage, hormone shots, semen, breeding fee, or boarding.

These might seem like dumb questions but what bull is G-9?  There have also been a few people that mentioned the Hub's Ranch bulls.  Are they still raising Shorthorns?  How available is semen on some of the old Hub's bulls?

I do already have 20 units of Guinness and 16 of one of his son's BBS Hope's Prime Time along with 1 straw of IDS Duke of Dublin.  In the same package also came 30 units of Woodland Improver.  Does anyone know his TH status?  I could not find it on any lists.  Thanks

Thank you for all of the comments, information, and points of view on some of the older bulls.  I would also have to agree that some of the cattle from back then are probably too small and don't have enough performance.  There are also some of the modern cattle, and even popular bloodlines that...

Here is maybee even a bigger question that I should have started with, given the lack of knowledge on past history in the breed.  What are some of the better older bulls (older than 1980) that have had some impact on the shorthorn breed or that you can see having some impact now?  Thanks
