Not a wide variety of mineral brands to choose from here in western WA, but have been using Purina Wind/Rain.  Works better than the only other option (plain red salt block).  Problem is the cost just jumped to $40 a bag.............. am I insane to think this is way too much?

As long as the teams ahead of them keep losing it won't be hard at all.  It happened last year.  At least one and probably 2 of their remaining opponents will be ranked by the time they play them.

I would tend to agree with you, but look at last year.  Number one was a curse!  USC has lost early enough to climb back up the polls if history repeats itself.

Thanks for the replies!  Yuppie- Honestly I wasn't fishing for a compliment.  I live in Western WA & don't see alot of "good" cattle.  Yes I thought she was good but wanted a reality check because Pride can sometimes get in the way of making the right decision.  Thanks again for the opinions! 

I echo what I said earlier, could be wrong but I'd bet she's bred.  The first 2yrs I had my cow preg checked and now I don't worry about her behavior unless the other cows are showing interest in her.

Thinking about using her as a replacement.  I am hoping to get honest opinions.  She is 12/30/07 heifer out of Dr Who and an average commercial angus cow.

I have a cow that does this every year (5 yrs straight).  Her actions are almost exactly what you described.  She will even have mucous discharge.  Funny thing is that she always ends up being bred to the original AI date.  ??? ???
