Where are they now? Past Denver promotional bulls

Shame you have an opinion...  Someone should tell you those kind of cows are nothing but hard doing, poor performing, and pretty much worthless.  Course, after they tell you their genetics, you realize they are trying to raise the wrong cow in the wrong environment= but in any regard, I think...

    Roanoke Flashback

He's gone now though, so will be limited from now on... I do not know of any mature daughters, and pretty sure the oldest I saw at the homeplace- were breds...

    Careers and Jobs

Animal Sciences degree wasn't going to do anything for me- good think I realized it when I did, and added a 2nd degree... The Forestry dual major, with the added minors in Nat. Res and Conservation-- is pretty much what did it. But like everything, it boiled down to who I knew, and what I knew.

    Shorthorn Bulls, and bull calves

    BEARCAT

I wish you would breed that cow to something 'different'.  I like her, the pedigree, and the potential, but want to see a son more towards the middle of the road (AKA non Trump based, and non Jazz based) Nice bull though, looks good for a purebred.

PB Shorthorn Bull showing at NWSS Opinions please

That bull's pedigree is unique enough to almost have to work.  Stacked pretty tight, and would appear to me to have plenty of the old white Maine bull in him--  It's my understanding that was a hell of a breeding bull.  By looking at his dam's performance, I see two full sisters, and one who...

What is it with some people?

Livestock for one-- many people makre a career from raising them, or showing them-- yet I know very few who actually make a profit doing such...  Just enough to break even and stay afloat. Making money to me, means making a profit...  I can think of lots of things that make me money, but sure...

PB Shorthorn Bull showing at NWSS Opinions please

Refresh me... is TB a white Sin Cidy deal?  Is he clean both ways? I like this calf, would be interested to check him out online, and in person (although that I'm sure will not happen)...  even if he does go back to SinCidy.

    I noticed a trend.

I'm not complaining...  other than a person or two, I seriously, hold no grudge towards anyone- on, or off this forum.  And that is the gospel truth... <rock>

    I noticed a trend.

If you tie a ball on a peice of baling wire- and tie it to a barn rafter-- pull it back, and let it go....... it swings both ways...

    I noticed a trend.

it seems like about once a month the same people get on here and start a post or two complaining about other people and their thoughts. You would think that in a country who the biggest topic of concern being the 2nd amendment and gun control, would also remember the part from the constitution...

    Durhams for Denver

do commercial buyer's want to see BW listed in catalogs?  The footnotes talk of B-Y spread-- yet I've not seen much for actual weights... n It all looks good on paper, but how many commercial buyers go to that sale, and ACTUALLY BUY?

    Ali Bull produce crippled calves?

Sounds like you are doubling up of Ali in your pedigrees... I too am using a double bred half brother/ sister Ali bull-- he breeds every heifer on the place.  I have to say they are the soundest calves- also on the place. Pictures of the two best bull calves on the shorthorn bulls and bull...

    double muscling in france

The link doesn't work b/c the whole thing isn't 'hot'.  I can't get the pdf to open... it's interesting, from the way it sounds-- that the carrier dm animal appears to be superior to all others, whether dm expressed, or non-carrier...
