I'll 2nd the website being the most important promo tool we have.  It's amazing the level that having a website took us, not that the quality of our animals improved much, but the widespread knowledge of them did.  To date, we've sold into 18 states and Canada now- i wouldn't be close to that...

Ironically- from personal experience, and what I have seen-- I barely think DS and DV breed similar...  maybe it's the other side of the equasion, but DS seems to be the smallest cows, and DV the biggest...

We're breeding our heifers younger-- to red maine purebred bulls, or like I like to say-- generic angus.  once that heifer hits 12 months- she's getting heat checked--  by 13 months, it's a good chance, they've been AI'd already... We had a red angus bull here that was calving ease on jersey...

The blue roan heifer is a tick straight fronted-- when she is moving, her head is not in show position.  I'd like to see her track wider from behind, especially considering her upper skeleton mass and width.  Flexibilty, I think she's fine with.  This heifer is geared perfectly for somebody...

Bull from MO just needed a little more time. This one is same way, he  just needs more time...  With that said, he'll be a better bull down the road. Here's his basically full brother-- the bull that won MO. Tight sheath huh?  He just needs time, not sure if he'll be ready yet or not...

Your right show boy.. I'd encourage you to find how many two time National Champion females have been in the Shorthorn breed... I'm betting one in the course of time, and she's the exact same genetically as this group of cows at my place.
