I could be wrong...but I am a nurse...I was taught in nursing school many years ago that each time it is 50% chance to be female and 50% chance to be male. Just because the last 10 were males, does not mean that there is a greater chance that the 11th one will be female.

I have seen a heifer shown with a blind eye. I was surprised at first, but it did not seem to affect her much. She had a great disposition and she placed in the top two or three in her class.

I have not asked this question yet because sometimes people are not as nice on public forums as they could be...but if you don't know, then you need to ask... Why is it desirable to have have cows that are TH carriers or PHA carriers...or why would you purposely breed a cow who is not a carrier...

We have 3 kids, who have a steer and a heifer each- so 6 calves total. We have been feeding Honor Show Chow. Apparently we are not going to be able to get the Finishing Touch for the steers any longer. We can still get the Fitter's Edge for the heifers, but it's all getting too expensive anyway...
