    Charolais bulls

Of the bulls in your poll Firewater would be the best then IMO.  I too would be interested in this Canadian bull if you don't mind sending it to me HF

    Malpractice? Advice- Calving loss. .....nightmare

I would speak to him first.  If he cooperates and gives you a freebie then all should be well, if not then you may have some leverage.  if he is a good vet then I'm sure you'll want to keep on amicable terms with him so I would try to work with him before trying any legal action

    help daughters 1st research paper

In high school I usually just googled books about my topic and cited one of those, 99.999999% of teachers wouldn't know the difference.  Not necessarily a suggestion, just a sidestory  ;)

wanted to hear peoples thoughts on paddy o malley bull

He's not the best heifer bull but he also is not a cow killer.  I really love his heifer calves especially out of simangus cows

    Sweat Collar for show heifer!!

We have always just used plastic wrap and the hot sweat cream from Sullivan's, just use enough that it won't rip to shreds as soon as they rub against anything

    Any crop farmers out there?

Florida panhandle we are running irrigation just to be able to get equipment in the ground.  Corn is almost a foot tall and we're watering it too

Has anyone used a semi trailor reefer with a cooling unit in it for a cooler?

I'll agree with that.  It works amazingly well it would just be extremely expensive.  If you could find a reefer trailer with a blown unit and put an electric freezer unit on it that would be ideal.

    Creep Feeding?

We always start creeping when the first calf turns a month old, usually a good few will be within a few days from the first group of cattle that we AI'd

    backwards babies

We always have one or 2 come backwards, never had problems with them getting out except on heifers though.  Oakview that sounds like a cow that deserves to make someone a nice hamburger to me...

    Milk replacer as hair grower

I think they've changed calf manna, at least around here.  Everything I can find takes half a pound or more to get any results.  We have used milk replacer to good results though

    Charolais bulls

Firewater will give you the showiest calves, Doc silver will give you the best calving ease, and bluegrass will be a nice compromise.  If you have mature cattle I would definitely go with Firewater but for heifers Doc Silver is the sure shot on calving ease

    New Herd Bulls

I have been trying to come up with no doubt's name for hours!  thanks!  I like gridmaker for females especially, he works great on Wind cattle and dukes as well for us, Have never used rio but liked the calves that I've seen, Wind is a trademark that is expensive enough to be flush only for us...

    Steer Feeding Question

What percent fat, protein, and fiber in your current ration?  What do the calves weigh now and what is your target weight and date for them?  With any oil I like to start slow, about a half cup per feeding and increase to different amounts depending on how hard I need to push a calf
