Well well well - oddly enough today 2/1/11 Oprah is having a show on going Vegan.  It will be very interesting to hear if she can capture the true story and both sides.  Some of you folks should tune in if your schedule allows. 

I think the bad publicity received in the media is the #1 issue.  There are far too many people that live in the city that don't have a clue about what goes into making their food.  Those people still have a vote and an opinion.  The media many times is the only outlet for those people to form...

Thanks for the info jackpot.  I know for me this information helps a bunch as he's one I've been eye balling but could never afford him.  A couple of questions if you don't mind - 1). What type of cow did he work best on?  2).  What type of frame does his cattle have?

What a crock.  Pumping is not necessary.  If your cattle can't make the adjustments, then they shouldn't be winners.  Pumping should be illegal and IMO it is morally and ethically unacceptable.  Pumping should ONLY occur if the animal needs it to survive.  I bet that 90% of the time that it's...

I agree Dusty.  We had trouble getting our chute inside last year because of space.  I hate being crammed in.  In fact, I question every year why we go.  I'm in the same boat.  If the weather isn't good enough, there's no way we'll go because we stall in the tie outs. Wonder if the space...

Last year, we registered online.  I can't remember when the online registration process started, but I'm pretty sure it's early now.  I would take another peek after the 1st of the year or mid January.

It sounds to me like you've got a tremendous deal.  If you are getting feed, place to keep them, AIing, and expertise of someone that knows what they are doing, then $30/month is cheap - depending on what and how much they are getting fed but assuming they are getting fed a good, balanced diet...

That explains price, but IMO that doesn't make it OK to make guarantees to a kid.  That's used car sales tactics there.
