I am sure nothing like this would go over in TX. Yes the TX majors are VERY Political but that is what you get if you want to play the stock show game. Guess you could say I would rather roll the dice and spend time and money with my kids rather than leaving them at home and roll the dice and...
I am sure praying for rain. I just heard that they have evacuated the city of Palo Pinto. These fires and winds are going to make it a long hard summer on those of use raising cattle and horses. Rain forecast in the panhandle doesn't show anything until next week and it is just a slight chance...
Personally I wouldn't own a Duramax. All these years and they still can't get rid of the bugs in that motor. As stated with a diesel the longevity is greater than a gas but you do have to consider all the other factors...diesels do cost more to up keep but if done right they will last. We still...
I agree join TJLA for updates on shows...also good camps and clinics for members. Show in Cameron on May 28 & 29, Denison on 28th there are alot coming up. TJLA on the road again will have them listed with contact info. Good Luck and hope to see ya at a show!

As others have stated it is politics! Another big problem is that a "TRUE" Angus is normally more powerful than these crossbred angus and those classifying as stated before have some sort of vested interest in a calf and are scared to compete. We had a steer that classified this year at Ft.Worth...
I didn't make the steer show this year but this seems to be the pattern at most of the majors. I am not sure how we can perserve this at the rate things are going. I am still old school and believe that the term market steer means just that not how pretty they look and it seems that alot of...
We use the ez foamer. Then mix a tsb of vinegar in a bucket of water and pour on them after they are rinsed out. It helps with any soap residue and also helps the hair.
