We have a crossbred but are interested in showing a purebred prefering a Maine but any good pure will work. Located in NW Ohio needs to be close. Don't want anything super expensive however a decent one would be good. Probably last chance for Grand Champion Steer.

I am having thos exact same problem. I don't know where you are located but here it is HOT like in the 95's. This is what my ag teacher told me. My steers have had full acess to feed 24/7. First clean out all feed then skip a feeding. Next feed them every morning around 6am when its still cool...
