    Headliner birthweights

Are you insinuating you actually believe the weights put out there on bulls promoted by the big boys? Sounds to me like someone was just honest for once. I see no reason to think he'll be any harder calving than Monopoly, if he was we'd know by now.

What are everone's opinions on this?

OK that makes no sense, Kohn would be against competition and differing reward levels for performance so your argument makes no sense, he would agree with YOU not me.

What are everone's opinions on this?

Their money, their business. Capitalism and freedom are wonderful things. The idea that someone doesn't deserve the right to pay whatever they want to for whatever calf they want is absurd. For the record if they win they deserve that as well. I mean we all wish we had more money, but let's...

    Walks Alone

I will say this....I have seen him numerous times, was there today in fact. 1) If Walks Alone is used correctly he will be a lot closer to the next Heatwave than Monopoly. 2) If he is too small for a clubby.............. then for a purebred so is the Angus bull "Copyright", and nobody is...

Milk Man, N-Charge, Walks Alone, or Sahara

Dunno, you couldn't have picked 4 more different bulls so to say they all will fit one cow with one goal in mind is doubtful. Honestly, I'd go Alias, Jimmy the Greek, something like that.

What is the best Clubby Maine Bull today?

OK now I need clarification....are you calling Heatwave a clubby Maine bull?  To me they need to be at least 3/4 to be a "Maine", so you're asking about a different subset of bulls.

    Launter Bulls 2010

the comment on looking poor on one day versus every day in a picture is foolish as well. Not foolish if the parts you need are still there and a bull is just wrung out, "looking poor" does not mean crippled, it can be for a variety of reasons.

    Launter Bulls 2010

Judging off a picture = foolish. There is only one way to judge any bull...show me his calves. I have to see them on the hoof to even try them. Most people would be shocked by what these bulls really look like, but the smart people use the parts and pieces they need even if they look poor on...

    Building a herd

These responses are great! Thanks to everyone for chiming in...sometimes the building process makes you impatient, but the predictability is priceless. Sometimes it just takes a little reminding...thanks.

    Building a herd

OK, only for those who have been there and done it...how long before you feel like you're where you want to be? Realistically how many years does it take to build a herd? Rules for my situation... never paid more than $2000 for a cow/heifer, started with just an Angus base. Reason I am...

What to breed my really chubby Red Angus too??

Hey Show Heifer...if they aren't USED they cannot be PROVEN.
