This guy is out of a Who Made Who cow and Sired by Moody Blues. He was born in March 2011, is eating about 12 lbs of feed right now and we are still bumping him up. He is a very easy going steer, and has a pretty good nature about him. These pictures are not the best, he looks a lot better in...
Zak,
I haven't bred her yet. Could never catch her in heat, then at fair on show day she came into standing heat. A.I. guy and I decided it would be best to wait tell after fair, so that is the plan. Goin to bred her to Rocky Balboa he adds hair to his calves.
My county fair was the last week in July. I had the oportunity to take two heifers and my brother took his pig. This year was my senior year of showing at county and both heifers did good. ONe heifer was Grand Champion Crossbred (pictured) and the other was 3rd in her class. My brother got...
This heifer was Grand Crossbred Heifer at my county fair. She is the lot 124 heifer from Sullivan's sale last year. You can also find her in Lautners Semen Magazine under Jimmy the Greek. Please tell me what you think. I am taking her out to our State fair the second weekend of September.
I believe it all depends on the animal with this feed. I had a steer that ate the crap out of it them about a month till fair he quit eating it. I also had a heifer that would bloat all the time when she ate it. All of the other calves I have had on it do great.
I am getting ready to move out to Manhattan to go to school. My problem is that I will be leaving behind, three calves and a 2010 heifer that I am getting ready for KJLS sale and Kansas State Fair in September. I was wondering if anyone on here has any idea were I could stall these critters...
I thought about that. Talked to my boss about doing it, she is a vet, and she said to give them a show of GNH or something like that. My dad has been telling me not to do it cause he doesn't believe they work. Thank you for the replies.
I have a small herd of show cattle, three cows and two heifers. My problem: I have one cow that was A.I. and stuck, another one I can't catch in heat and another one that didn't stick. I also have the two heifers: one I haven't breed yet because she came into heat during county fair, the other...
Hi,
I was just curious as to how much you would like for this heifer, if she is still for sale. Do you have any other pictures/videos?
My e-mail is: [email protected]
Thank you,
Katie :)
The eggs will not make a pig sick. Pigs can eat lots of raw foods and not get sick. A guy in Las Vegas feeds his pigs fermented milk and they love it. Pigs have a very "hard" stomach and can tollerate just about anything. They will not eat watermelon, green pepper or bananas.
