Anyone able to recommend clipping and fitting videos? Do you like Steiwalt, Guyer, or McCullough videos? I am trying to get some young showman more involved in the process and it would help to have a more accomplished perspective.

Card Uproar and JF American Pride are bred that way.  American Pride has been used some, and looks to be around 500 registered as his get of sire.  I am sure there are some opinions here on what to use the dream on with.

I had a few questions on what you do when you put calves under fans. Do you keep them tied all day? If you keep them tied how do you provide water? Do you keep hay in front of them at all times under fans?

I noticed the same thing.    CE must have dropped when 2013 calves were registered.  Made me nervous as we had an In Dew Time heifer bred to him.  Ended up calving fine with a 78 pound heifer calf.  The in dew time heifer herself was small at birth, so that played in our favor.  Only a few days...

Any more comments on calves out of simmi bulls?  Sure seems to be a large number of bulls being marketed with some good qualities.  Even some viable outcrosses to the Dream On and Upgrade bloodlines.

I think the champion foundation sim in MN was an Oreilly Factor.  Have hfr to Oreilly Factor in a couple weeks as well.  On the flip side I have not seen many sim cattle out of either bull.

We had a Cheap Trick cow that we had real good luck with, she had a ton of hair for the time.  When mated to clubby bulls they seemed a little hard.  We had good luck mating that cow to sim and simangus bulls.  You could count on those calves having a huge hip and great front every time.  Still...
