In my experience they have been best suited as terminal.

I have seen quite a few of these heifers the last couple years, really think those pedigrees two click very well. Got my hands on one last fall and bred her to Comfort Zone for the first calf. I am guessing there are others with this pedigree or similar ones, what matings have worked for you...

I agree, but still think those legs are good enough for him to be a very competitive steer. Steer is my vote, and sooner rather then later.

I agree, I think both Mono Money and Grizzly Bear could give you a very good calf and at a safe 2nd calf weight. Very good looking heifer.

I really like the black steer, very complete calf. Looks like he should sell pretty good for you. Shorthorn appears a little green. Looks to have a killer front end though.

Yup, according to his page on the Chi Assc. he is a THC. They don't have anything listed for PHA.

I would look into the Bushy Park sales when they have them in the spring. Usually have a very large set of each breed, including clubby. Also they will come from a proven and outstanding program.

Not a chance, looking at his pedigree I would call it unethical too. Why kill/damage the heifer?
