A cow of mine aborted a calf about 5 days ago, but didn't expell her afterbirth. I checked on her yesterday (the first time after she aborted) and the afterbirth was still in her hanging out. I gave her a shot of lutalayse. Was that the right thing to do? Has anyone ever seen that?

I have a moderate frame simmi cross cow bred to Golden Child and is due on April 12th. I have heard some bad things about his calves being monsters and I am worried about calving difficulties. Does anyone have any comments about Golden Child calves?

This is an older Hamms Blower with a 10ft hose and nozzle. It gets hot after about 30 minutes of use. I am not sure what is wrong with it so I want to get rid of it. Has alot of power. Just needs a little work. I am located in San Antonio, TX. Thanks.
