kind of an arrogant fella.... Anyway, you start talking market values but the weight of your heifer was never stated. The person that bid $500 was just "starting" it off. As far as bids being pm'd, that's not very good since your selling her as "best offer". Bids should be viewable to everyone.

your title says "best offer". $500 was a start off but if you feel that is too low, maybe you should state your minimum.  $500 is probably close to market value. Maybe not what she's worth.

This being a heifer, it is quite possible she might calve early. Calving early is not only due to being a heifer, it can also be due to breed and size of the heifer.

That is rediculous!!! I have never heard of such a thing. I can't think of one good reason why it's only open to 4H kids and not FFA.....
