Both are good but I would have to say that the cooked corn is a little better. Simply because you still get all the starches. You loose some of that when it is pressed or flaked. When you cook it and it cools, you will see all the "good stuff" that is still there. Pressure cooker or a Roaster...

I believe Orange Crush has a DOB in 2007. I suspect he will have calves hitting the ground this year. I'm expecting on from him in Sept.  Your right, he looks to be pretty massive.

Correct me if I'm wrong... But when it's a terminal show, doesn't the market animal go to a packer from there? It's sold to the market. Our county used to be terminal and the champion hog (gilt) just vanished in an hour after the load was taken to the holding pen at the aution barn....

Actually, it looks like the Simmy was the Reserve over all and the Angus was the only one that was thrown out. So, the Reserve takes it all!

From what I can see, there appears to be more than one that was disqualified. Looks like a simmy that was Grand Champion and disqualified and the Champion Angus got thrown out as well.

Unfortunatly, there are some out there that sell "show animals" and then turn around and buy better ones to show themselves. BUT, lead people to believe that they raised it. But, Not all of them are like this. Some individuals are in search of different qualities or breeds than what they have...
