she can get appendix papers but she will only be 1/4 shorthorn.  Called the association today and they said the lady I need to talk to was out till monday.  She can probably show at jackpot shows in appendix but I do not know about state and nationals.  Will call again on monday.

her birth weight was 65 #.  Her sire, above and beyond, is known for his calving ease in the red angus.  I have used him for 3 years on 24 heifers and have never had a calf over 70#, all were unassisted.  This is the only durham red heifer I got this year the rest were bulls.
