    Pole barn or steel?  Lots of things to do, the biggest for me is to put in drains (are you doing concrete), so you have place to rinse/wash.

    Anyone know the record for a steer or heifer that is going to be shown (not a promotional bull)?  Sale results in the fall you see them inch close to 6 figures every once in a while.  To rich for my blood.

    Would Texas ever open their major shows to out of staters?

    I know our smaller events and even our local fairs have struggled a bit with #s.  Showing cattle on a competitive level isn't cheap and economy has put a crimp on the disposable income.  I don't think anyone would argue me that showing cattle isn't a money making venture unless you are a breeder...

    I never understood why some people turn the gun sideways.  No wonder you hear of 20 shots fired and it usually hits no one.
