I remember this heifer...ya'll were in our class.  Very nice heifer....love the color.

We had a pb simmi with a black/white mixed hoof jump the fence and tear a dewclaw one time.  The dewclaw wasn't completely ripped off  just barley hanging on.  The vet put something on it that was  like glue and wrapped it and it did grow back but it took  a long time.  While it was growing back...

We had a hard feeding steer for ft worth and we tried both the rice and glucoat.  He would not touch the rice but did eat the glucoat, it did what it was supposed to do...he had a good cover of fat. 

Has anyone had structure problems out of MB, as in being too straight?? 

We also had the same problem last year, we also tried probios and beet pulp.  We ended up giving him vitaferm...it comes in a tube.  It took a few weeks but he firmed up and was fine.

Why no sexed semen...I wish more Simmi breeders would do that. If he is that good we would sure buy some.

Could you tell me about the bull cunia that is in this blood line. I mean just what experience you or anyone has had with him or his genetics.  I've seen people talk about him on here.  I really don't know anything about the maine bloodlines, but am trying to learn.  This is the only maine cow...

yeah we  want to flush her for sure..her mother was flushed to alias a couple of years ago and it was a train wreck.  We just want to be careful about who we breed her to. I appreciate everyones help, we certainly need it.

I need opinions on what to breed this pure bred maine cow to.  She has had 2 bulls calves so far, 1st was to a simangus bull the 2nd was to red rock.  She has a great udder and milk,very square in her hip.  The only issue she has is she gets a bit straight on her back legs.  I want to breed her...
