I agree. If you see an animals head coming towards you - you usually can tell what's coming behind it. I've yet to see a bad animal with a good head!

  What I meant is that she is certainly a calf that would turn heads. We definitely don't want or need that sort of muscling in the Shorthorn breed, but perhaps if she was mated to a more moderate type bull the progeny might have a role. The Shorthorn breed is by it's nature a maternal breed...

Ah don't mind him. There's one in every bag. I like lots 114 and 118. Lot 3 looks good but it's a pity he's not better colour marked.

The cattle you are asking about in the video are Parthenaise. They are similar in colouring to Aubracs but are bigger with more expressive muscling. If you google Sansonnet you will find one of the sires that is popular within the breed.

If you want something totally different that would definitely stamp a type I would recommend Hillcrest Champion for an outcross in North America. His calving difficulty is slightly above the breed average but I have never heard of anyone having problems with him. He really is a breed changing...
