Wrangler heifer beside firewater steerplanet veteran

I remember your donor from the sale.  9485 is good genetics.  Breed that one to Cigar, FW, or Turton.  I like the idea of what Prime Cut would throw in there with Turton.  Remember your homework on OBG Nancy?  FW is available sexed heifer from Thomas Ranch.  It's not cheap, but it is 5mil, not...

Wrangler heifer beside firewater steerplanet veteran

0383 is hard to find; someone was very thoughtful with that gift.  There are three units selling in Henderson this weekend at the CAT sale.  Curious to see how much they will go for.  Females based on WW and/or 0383 had fantastic Cool Rep calves at side when we went to M6 to view Bells &...

Wrangler heifer beside firewater steerplanet veteran

If you are considering flushing her, watch condition level on the cow.  The embryologist (at least mine) prefer them not to be so fat, er, I mean in such good condition.

Wrangler heifer beside firewater steerplanet veteran

She's good.  Second picture her front looks off but may be the angle.  If she's clean front and back she's a good one.  Don't necessarily look for the first one to put the cow on the map; her successive offspring are likely to be better than the first.  Reread my other post I was editing when...

Wrangler heifer beside firewater steerplanet veteran

She's gorgeous; great neck.  Your FW looks even better as a momma.  Gridmakers are sought after as great cows and Cigars milk and have fantastic udders.  She'll do a great job making show steers and purebreds.  You imported some calving ease with Wrangler and more milk with Oakdale Duke in...

Charolais bulls on club calf cows to raise a smoke

I like him, too....have you seen the video? http://www.bovine-elite.com/videoPlayer.asp?id=334&dir=charolais He does look like he would have an awful lot of grow to him.  Looked him up and CWT (carcass weight) EPD falls in top 30% of the breed, but then so does Firewater's (his sire).  Too bad...

Charolais bulls on club calf cows to raise a smoke

Genesource in Texas is a distributor of Rapid Rewards.  He sired this year's Grand Champion steer at Houston, out of a Heatwave, I believe....His sire, Hef, was the sire of the Res Champion in San Antonio this year, also out of a Heatwave.  I hope I remembered all that right..... I believe you...

Looking for Dr Who sexed heifer semen

He told me a story involving one of his customers that went through great expense to breed a heifer using sexed semen....then ended up with a bull anyway and, as fate would have it, a big bull, was a hard hard pull ....needless to say that customer wasn't very happy with their sexed semen result.

Looking for Dr Who sexed heifer semen

I had already ran it by my embryologist and he wasn't interested in it....agreed that a reverse sort IVF pickup procedure at TransOva would yield better results than what I could do with a single unit of sexed.....we are almost done for the year at this point--got a MAB pregnancy and a Monopoly...
