    Maternal Charolais Bull

When I think of Cigar x 914, she (the 248 cow) is who I think of.  One of my all-time favorite females. She has a donor daughter in MN who flushed 26 good embryos in the middle of a blizzard which hampered a second insemination during the flush cycle and she was bred only once, using a single...

    Maternal Charolais Bull

We love our Cigar daughter and no issues with fertility here.  We flushed her to 914, got 19 embryos, put five in fresh that were mostly grade two and grade three embryos and every one of them stuck.  So we got five pregnancies and were able to freeze all our grade 1 embryos for later, what a...

    Maternal Charolais Bull

Might wait on Smokester for after the second calf, but he is a good one.  For those genetics, look at WC Benelli, by Passport, by Smokester.  914 on the bottom, and Passport is a full brother to Marion who has produced many National show winners bred to Firewater.  Between the Fasttrack and...

    Maternal Charolais Bull

Sounds like you might be needing more power right off the bat.  In that case, look also at M6 Cool Rep, also available at Bovine Elite  http://www.bovine-elite.com/charepd2.asp?idProduct=4341&id2nd=40 He is sired by M6 Cool Dude and 914 is already on the bottom.  When I attended the M6 sale...

Another pic of the Full Throttle daughter, dried off after weaning her calf.  Seven years old here.

    Maternal Charolais Bull

I guess I should comment on her production ability.  She has a yearling daughter we are going to flush using heifer sexed Firewater after this female calves.  She's pretty sweet, but all I have are pics rough in the pasture.

    Maternal Charolais Bull

A very under-utilized maternal bull is M6 Full Throttle 2138 PET.  He is available at Bovine Elite http://www.bovine-elite.com/charepd2.asp?idProduct=1950&id2nd=30 He is sired by 914, who has been a multiple trait leader too many times to count.  He (914) ranks top 10% or better in the breed...

Does anyone know what the current price is for EXAR Lutton 1831, if you can find it? Also BC Lookout if anyone knows....

Has anyone seen any MAB x PB Charolais calves?

I completely understand what you are saying; however, I hope you can see how incredibly expensive the breeder side of this can be.  TransOva's price for the recip is $2200, not $1200.  I agree it is too much, but that is the cost and it is not negotiable.  We bought the best donor we could find...

Does anyone have a picture of W T F BLACK CENTURY #12948533 from an old semen catalog?  Any info?

HooDoo "Houston" 360 steer that won Houston in 2011 - calving date?

Just wondering what the calving date on this steer was.  He was a Monopoly, wasn't he?  I'm trying to get a handle on what the most desirable calving times are for similarly bred steers.  Looked through old topics trying to see if I could research calving dates in order to target specific...

Pretty impressed with this little lady so far.  Cleanest neck imaginable.

Has anyone seen any MAB x PB Charolais calves?

HW and Monopoly have been winning for a while now on Char females.  As good as the calves are coming out of MAB, I don't see why he would be any different.  I guess I'm hoping the maternal shot of WMW in him will make his daughters better cows since I don't want this to be a terminal cross on my...

Has anyone seen any MAB x PB Charolais calves?

I don't think I can lose with the MAB.  Embryologist agreed it was the better way to go and we have time to make the switch.  She's a big egg maker so she'll probably make more of them than I'll ever need; hope there will be some interest for these.  Thx.

Has anyone seen any MAB x PB Charolais calves?

She is by Cigar (who sired the dam of FIREWATER) and out of a prolific donor sired by Mac 2244 (grandsire of the infamous "0641" cow, who has generated over $1,100,000 in progeny sales).  The success of these genetics in the show ring is unprecedented.  Together they have produced five National...

Has anyone seen any MAB x PB Charolais calves?

Given the popularity of crossing Monopoly on PB charolais cows, I just wondered if anyone has seen any calves out of MAB and PB char cows.  We are flushing this donor to WHO MADE WHO and then thinking of AI'ing her to MAB.  Appreciate your thoughts on this.
