I think some of the show type folk are doing a pretty good job with that, myself.  This is one of the best examples I know; had the pleasure of seeing her in the ring and she was stunning. 

Can you please elaborate about the dewlap attachment reference in regards to the McHenry bull.  I asked already, but I think it got lost in the shuffle.....thanks.

Thanks; I'm going to try it.  She has produced smaller-framed offspring with sound fronts so I think it may just work.  The last one even had quite a bit of hair (for charolais, anyway) so that's an added bonus. I appreciate all the input.

The WHO MADE WHO recommendation was spot on.  Homozygous black, double clean, maternal machine and daughters produce winners.  This is exactly what I was looking for.  Ordered the WHO MADE WHO and will be making them this fall.  Thanks so much! Do have one question....Here is another pic when...

Thanks for all the comments; I appreciate the input.  I am quite certain she would produce some jam up calves bred to Monopoly or Heat Wave or Solid Gold or Man Among Boys.  We may try some of these, too.  However; my kiddo is not yet old enough to show and I think what I'm out for right now is...

Maternal foundation genetics for producing smokes for the showring.  I don't know if the F1's would be that show-worthy....

Has this cross been made successfully in the past?  This is the donor we are interested in using if it'll work....
