we use the grower because we do not have access to the developer we use little oats in the grower

maybe i will talk to the mill and see what they say how would i get the recipe for the developer to give to them thanks

Thanks everybody heifer developer is not a choice I wish it was in my area  I do not understand that I called acco and got the run around with them. All the dealers are just about had it with them around here.

Because she is short frame and her frame will not allow to much more weight without her looking overweight

I have a show heifer that i am trying to control for next month show i do not want to gain much weight but want her to look full i am trying to get her all the hay she wants and feeding her showmaster grower and am wondering if beet pulp is the answer she is weighing around 940 thank you

Thanks!! She's pretty short, so her weight is going to have to be below average for her to look right.  We are planning on getting her a good clip job before we show her. 

This is my 9 year old daughter's first time to show an animal.  We got her this Maine-Anjou heifer.  She is very gentle. She is about 16 months old, weighs around 930 lbs.  We plan on showing her towards the end of February.

Thanks for the info i was wanting to stay with the clubby show cattle type not only do i have a flush daughter but a full throttle granddaughter also about 4 commerical hereford cows i was wanting to keep the the heifer calves out of i did not know if i need to play it safe and breed to bulls...
