Rowe nutrition has some of the best feeds out there. Their jackpot.43 is formulated for heifers. Works great. Several breeders all over recommend it to lots of different people. Very affordable too.

Go to the hardware and buy some paint that is close to the same color as your steer. Then you can use that as your finish coat and you can still layer the white in over the adhesive.  We do this with red steers as well since it seems you can never find the exact shade from a show supplier.  Good...
