I know there are a ton of online auctions, but what are the risks of buying from an individual based on pictures and videos?  I'm looking at a heifer two states over, too far to drive. Buyer has sent quite a few pictures and videos. Anyone ever burned?  What are things I should look for or ask?

I realize I'm not being very clear - Texas majors heifer classification list a requirement for Maines to be at least 75% to show as a Maine. Anything less would go in the ORB category. So I'm trying -if possible to get to that 75%. My cow is only 50%.

I have a 50% maintainer cow out of I-80.  Looking for full Maine bull that will add some size and pretty one up.  She's a little coarse made. 

This is a one month heifer out of full Maine first calf heifer.

Just wondering - would love to get out of the ORB division. Our heifer is 10.5% Maine and 16.2% Angus, 4.03 Chi and 69.19% other. I know Maines require 75% to be a full blood, is there any way to beeed this heifer to get the offspring out of ORB?
