The angus valley calves come very early, birthweights are on thelighter side even for angus and we have heard good things about calf vigor. I was suprised at the growth so many of them have, they could be a tick stouter but i think they have a lot of potential

I cant be the only one whose first thought is this is an ideal situation for using a char crossed bull. There are MANY options out there for making smokes if that would work for you or your market. Not only that but the calves that dont make the cut will convert cheap corn to expensive beef...

I would look into putting 13 inch wheels on it instead of the 10 inch wheels they use now. Also look into an easier way to handle and move it once you do get it filled to the brim.
