    Rodgers Bull Sale

Keep in mind that the bulls represented are not only from Wade Rogers, the first class sales are joint venture by Brad Smith, Nick Reimann Chris Rosa and Wade. As per your other point addressing the fact most of the bulls are in fact not sired by Rogers' bulls you can look at it like this. Most...

    Breeding Down Cows

    Lautners bull sale

I'm just saying that coming from them I would have expected them to do a better job presenting them. If they did such a poor job getting them ready for the videos and pictures maybe they are half-assing it with average cattle.

    Lautners bull sale

Is it just me or does it look like some of the lots have been pumped just prior to being videoed?

    Favorite Breed(s) for Club Calves

Give me char cows all day long for making profitable clubby calves. Those that don't make the show string don't disappoint when they walk on the truck with their pen mates.

    Unstoppable

Given your infinite knowledge in the club calf world I will take your word on it and forever write off unstoppable.  Thank you for your astute observation on your one calf. Forget the calves we have seen out of this bull, and the countless satisfied producers who have used him. Sorry I'm just...

    BULL TO ADD POWER

Allow me to refer you to the multiple pages of people desperately attempting to quiet you by suggesting many bulls that will likely work. Go back and read those posts, garner names of the bulls and apply them to a dart board. Use one dart and toss it. DONE!

    JD 4450

That is a clean tractor, I don't see any issues with it other than I am partial to the quadrange transmission. You have at least another 10,000 hours left in that tractor, you should get along fine pulling a 22 foot implement. Good luck it should serve you well.

    BULL TO ADD POWER

Yup, that's not confusing. Breed all you own to MAB if they are clean and be done with it. Over thinking the clubby game with all the different genetics can be dangerous. Besides, you have asked many times what bull is right for your cows yet you obviously don't trust the opinions you get since...

    BULL TO ADD POWER

Then sell her, then you won't have to ask the same question about every bull.

    Firewater

Yup, it went to graderts from Iowa for 51 grand. Had champion char and reserve steer at Iowa state fair. Didn't Thomas's sell a 62 thousand dollar BIM steer out of a no good flat made, poor structured, piss poor uddered, hound gutted, straight shouldered firewater daughter who was middle of the...

    Firewater

If all Charolais are supposed to be terminal then where do more Charolais cattle come from? Do they not have moms? Are no cows charlolais? perhaps chars come from your shorthorn supermoms. It's clear that firewater has only been sampled by a ffew people and no success stories or high sale...

    Firewater

I'm almost giddy waiting to hear about how this bull is not char enough. Here I thought his more moderate frame size was a benifit to this looking for that in a bull......

1 Bull to make clubby mommas

Keep in mind meyer 734 was from another time, much larger frame score, horns and a lot of white. Simmental cattle were still very performance based with a lot of milk in mind. With this comes udder problems, udder suspension, teat shape can really take a beating. Yes there are some very nice...

1 Bull to make clubby mommas

I agree that firewater needs to be mated correctly in order to avoid problems. His popularity is due to two things he has and passes on to most of his calves, a level attractive hip and tail head and jet fronts. Doesn't hurt he is owned and promoted by Thomas's. I wou.d protect him on depth of...
