Just got semen in from bovine elite on him. Plan on using him on pb sim heifers and a few of our better numbered angus. I love his pedigree, look and build. I'm surprised that he's not more popular

Love the VF stress tubs but I do have a problem with them. It's kinda hard to take a tub to shows. I'd like to see a 10-20lb tub the size of a "goat" bucket. Small enough for kids to handle and it won't take up much space in tie outs or in the barn stall.

We grow our own. It's about 15% protein and with the hull, has a little more bulk/fiber. I've came up with a 12.5% all around ration using sunglo's showcalf concentrate. We use our own corn and spelts and add beet pulp, barley, cotton seed hulls and molasses. I feed our show and sale calves...

Safeguard also has a paste that is easy to use also. That's what I use on the show calves in the summer so they don't get burned by pour on. The pellet is nice too but for small calves its easier to get the right dose with the paste

Back in the day the Ohio Agr was the biggest open jackpot in the mid west. Paid 2500 to win the steer show. Now Lima, Agr and ags are still big shows but run two rings. Pay 1k to win each ring for steers and heifers. Bringing in big numbers really depend on location and the wknd being held...

With all the baby pics being posted now out of rookie bulls, what bulls are on yalls "use soon" list? I'm really impressed with maternal perfection. I'm sure the pics on wade's blog is just a few compared to how many there are but for me he takes the top spot.

His numbers ain't the best but yardly high regard is one of the hottest simmys going for an outcross to dream on. grand @ k-city and Denver this year is a high regard.
