cant say i know of any issues with him calving any more than any other clubby. he works best on real real deep made cows, and even then might still turn out to be gutless.

how big or old should a calf be, before giving these? i got a few to test out to see how they work but not real sure how big the calf should be before i give em.

i would build up to 8-10 instead of start with 8-10. flushing should run you est. 3-400/cow depending on semen and vet cost. a very well known Angus farm close to me, flush their donors about 8 months out of the year. egg numbers tend go way down in the hotter months. they also have coop herds...

for angus breeders, he is just an avg bull, if he can rate avg. N.Imp. cows got hot when bred to heat seeker and do cross well with others to make a "maternal" type of clubby momma. but crossing them would be ideal but only a special one would be bred back to ang. for purebreds. JMO.

with cattle, the showman is to move their body position in order to give the judge a better view of the animal when it is needed. kinda like when a judge is walking around and in between the cattle.
