Nice calves,,,horns aren't so bad,,,if I didn't have 3 breeds already I think they would be fun to play with!

Might be worth trying Vita ferm drench,,,makes cattle crave fiber and keeps em eating when they go off feed.  If your feeding sure champ  ask your dealer about it

She has come along nicely,  I purchased a Montezuma off the sale too,,and am very happy with her.  The montezuma heifers are gonna make some fantastic cows I think

Chris I am not on here to get in a pissin match with anyone,,the breeder wanted a suggestion on a bull for his cow.  Bud heavy is not a creek,,he is a nice made charolais purebred bull,,thats my opinion.  Not tryin to downplay your bull by calling him common for the clubby deal,,,,lots of bulls...

I own part of Diablo ,and can tell you just from the picture this bulls hip doesn't compare to Diablo or encore

Whats his hip height,,1584 seems a touch big

he will add bone ,,and I have had some kinky haired ones too.  Used him only on char cows,,,but would guess with the sim influence on your cows you could get some kinky hair too

Turton does have more sheath than rapid fire,,but is bigger hipped ,bigger boned and a half frame smaller,  but still think for a pb bullw  i would go chunky monkey,,,bud heavy is to common for a clubby deal.

why do you say turton is overrated he is as stout,big boned char bull I have seen in some time.  I would say bud heavy is overrated

as a firewater owner don't think he would work in this case,,not if the cow is bigger framed

would agree with that,,,but some states they have to be half bloods to show in char breed

Used it last year,,treated less calves than we ever have before,,we are using again this year.  We gave it again at pasture time,and used gold 5 in fall

AI, personally for a big cow I would say turton or chunky monkey,,if you want to buy a bull pm me your address,and I can get you a sale catalog on our bull sale.  Have a 5.5 frame firmware son selling the 27th,,,two full brothers are working in chubby herds

Have not had any problems with calving eye candy,,but IMO they are allot harder feeding than monopoly. Depends on how well your customers feed.  The 4-H kids that buy most of our steers have a hard time getting eye candy steers fat enough

If the cow shows no signs of calving,,,make sure you check the rest of your cows ,,it might not be hers.  If it is hers ,,o no mo is great stuff
