Yea i havent breed her yet...thinkin about breedin her after jr nationals...we bred our other jan.s in april....at the state fair last year she was outsized by a good 4inches lol see ya at nationals

Thanks for all the help....the heifer is really good but like i said she is pretty small,,,if you see a Jan shorthorn heifer and Jr nationals that is the smallest framed in the class that'd be her!! All the local judges have loved her..she's got a lot of good but a consistant critique is that...

I have a shorthorn heifers that has a VERY small frame size and I can't find a bull to use on her that will be safe>>>Any suggestions??

Try putting a bail of hay in front of one of your fences and tie your calves to the other side of the fence, then sit on the hay and take the picture. You can go the same thing and put any ribbions and trophys that you have won on with hay with you.

is there anything special that i need to keep in mind when it comes to hanging them at the  IL State Fairgrounds??

one problem i had was getting the wires tight enough so the curtains wouldn't sag. i will be making A LOT of curtains!!

did you only hang them by the top or did you secure the bottom also??

I am in the process of making stall display curtains. Does anyone have any tips?? Demensions?? How to hang?? Etc... I have made some before but I want to make these look very professional for Junior Nationals. Thanks for the help!!
