    Very Important Question!

don't forget IMM - intramammary a good answer to that question would be: there is only one spot to give IM, and Sub-q skin injections is in the neck JWW

Flash mob rioted at Wisconsin State fair

a book store in London has decided to keep its doors open 24/7 in light that the young people that are rioting would steal/loot books and then actually read them... nice how someone can find humor in all the chaos; also saw on the news that local citizens are using vigilantism and arming...

    K-Ler Make It Rain

the ones i have seen seem pretty nice fronted, can be kinda small but usually real functional, i haven't looked at his EPD's lately but have been told works on heifers and will throw a blaze face on the right cow. also call Seth Kaehler, he'd know where to use him JWW

    Sullivans Ice Box

agree 100% with NHR, cooler with a pump/fogger works pretty dang well, you can get a cooler that more accurately fits the size of your barn/system for water flow. JWW

    An interesting statement about Simmentals

simmis are a more maternal breed and milk above average compared to some other breeds... alot of the info you presented seems pretty dated, i would say most of that it is true for the 1970 and early 80s simmentals... the ones today are alot better JWW

    OCC Legend or Copy Right?

I'll second OCC Magnitude for adding some depth of body and rib shape - make dang good cattle too, never had any semen fertility issues either with hime... another choice might be Trifecta 714, have only seen the online video and pics of him but he sure looks good, can't wait to see some calves...

    NWSS chooses Aurora

if the NWSS moves, especially far enough away form the current sight, I wonder what will happen to the business at the Butcher Block Cafe, that is about the best place to get a full breakfast around there, its handy, close and fills ya up for a decent price and its not the old boring breakfast...

    Cow stepped on a nail?

i would have a vet look at it, i saw a bull not too long ago that stepped on a nail or something that punctured his foot and then the whole leg got infected and and the abscess in his stifle was the size of a basketball and had to be lanced and drained, needless to say that bull didn't breed any...

    GNrH

if the cow had a responsive and dominate follicle the GnRH would cause ovulation of that follicle, if she did not have a dominant follicle it would either support the growth of a less mature follicle or stimulate a new follicular wave. it depends on where the cow is at in her cycle and if she is...

What do you consider a good flush?

agree with Husker1 -- i get excited with anyhting over 12, we had had a family line of donors that averaged around 30 embryos/flush even with multiple flushes/year ( we still have some of those embryos lieing around in the tank from 5-7 years ago ), we get discouraged if under 5... with 6 we say...
