    as for the depth of body w/ ranchhand, he tighten alot of nice soggy and deep cows up but then gave the calves some time.....ranchhands take quite a while to look good, the bulls take about a full year and then you can stand to look at them, the heifers start lookign good at about 9-10 months...

    when was the last time the steers were dewormed? give them some ivermect or cydectin, when i start working with my calves its one of the things i do right when they are started on a good ration so if they quit eating i know it is probably not b/c they weren't dewormed JWW

    we designed a calving barn / breaking barn a few years ago.... we went pretty crazy with the power. You can never have nough breakers in the place. i believe we have 8 breakers and 4 plug ins per breaker, we can run fans and blowers all the same time and lights without having to worry about...

    What would you do??

    this is the risk in buying cattle, sometimes you get one that sounds really good and think he will work ....then you crap out.... i would not buy the share back. if i bought a high dollar heifer then went to flush her and she has zero embryos.... should i be compensated? that would not...
