So I bought a Dr. Who and a Paddy O'Malley heifer at the Ohio Beef Expo. How good of cows do these bulls make? I've heard good things about Dr. Who females but I've never owned one.

You have to get some photo's of those bulls, and the rest will look after itself. Anyone with any promo skills at all should be able to sell these bulls easily, just get them pictured.

I had a newborn yesterday that wouldn't suck. I just fed her 2 wine bottles full of colostrum (neighbours Holstein) and then put the cow out to eat and walk around for 3 hours to see if the calf would drink.. When i put the cow back in the calf jumped up and drank for 15mins.

Good story! I saw 1st hand also how cows can protect their calves this summer. I saw 2 coyotes chase  a newborn and then 3 cows came running with heads down on a mission, the coyotes didn't want any part of that and took off running.

I have a Harry Crumb cow thats solid black, but her last 2 calves have had some pretty cool white markings on them. Her first 7 calves were solid black. One was a Gigolo Joe, and the other a premium blend.

What type of cow is he out of? We had an I Am Legend heifer out of a purebred 'business' cow and she was insanely thick. Had she been a steer she would have done some damage, as a heifer she was knocked on steer like qualities. I didn't agree but my opinion didn't matter. I bet he turns out...

I haven't had that experience with Legacy Plus at all. I've had 3 previously and all were thick, 1 was the thickest heifer I've ever had (although she was out of a massive cow).

Love it, works great to put the oil back in the hair after a wash. I don't buy that it shouldn't be used show day though,  they just want you to buy 2 products, 1 for the day before the show and 1 for show day. Although I still listen to them, not sure why......lol
