Tell me more, what is the beef industry need in term of Charolais bulls for the future? Calving ease, meat, polled, marbling, big rib eye, more or less frame?

It is our second year we use Inforce 3 with good results on more then 130 calves. We wait 3-4 days after they are born before giving them in the nostril.

In 2005 we had one 40 days ahead, one 33 days and another 20 days, they all lived well. In 2006 we lost some that were ahead so we test and found lepto, since that time we vaccine for that and see no problems.

Is someone know if the sire Turton only a polled bull or is homozygote for that gene? I have 3 polled calves from him and 2 are from horned cows.
